For nearly a quarter of a century, there has been a sure sign of spring in North Texas early year: Dallas Blooms.
Held at the Dallas Arboretum, a colorful destination just about any time of the year, Dallas Blooms is a time of explosive color in the form of over 400,000 spring bulbs including tulips, daffodils, Dutch iris and hyacinth throughout the 66-acre garden.
Considered one of the country’s top five floral events, one of the largest public azalea collections, and the largest outdoor floral festival in the Southwest, this special event draws travelers from across the region. Each year sports a special theme with accompanying activities, all set among over 3,000 azaleas in 150 varieties, 100,000 pansies, violas, and poppies, as well as thousands of other spring-blooming annuals and perennials.
Special activities during the five-week festival include special children’s activities, Easter events, special food tastings, and more.
