Apple-tree

This tiny town, located between Bandera and Kerrville on TX 16,  is a giant in the world of apples, known for its dwarf apple trees that produce full-sized fruit. You’ll find apple varieties ranging from Crispin to Jonagold in these orchards.

Attractions

Love Creek Orchards.  From mid-spring through mid-autumn, these orchards are open for guided tours. Tour times can vary so its best to call ahead to set up a tour. 13495 TX 16.

The Apple Store. Located downtown on Main Street, this shop offers many apple products including pies, syrups, jelly, apple butter and vinegar. During the apple season, you’ll also find Medina apples for sale. The attached Patio Cafe serves lunch, as well. 14024 TX 16.
